Whether it's making stuffed animals for children in crisis, helping a committee with a project you can do at home, or joining a group or ministry, there are many ways to serve at Joy.
Check back often to learn about the different needs and ministries where you can share your talents.
This holiday season Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains is expecting many new refugee arrivals! We will have 23 new families (69 individuals) arriving in the next four weeks. We need temporary host homes for these families. You can expect that they need housing for a minimum of two weeks up to one month. We are turning to our church and community partners asking you to help with temporary housing for families who will not have housing available when they arrive. Our teams are working feverishly to secure housing, but existing housing resources are already stretched to the limit and we don’t want to spend the limited funds these families receive on hotels rather than rent. If you would like more information, or would like to sign up to house a newcomer, please reach out to our Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator, Chad Corman.
