We will be meeting Thursday, May 8th, for lunch at Angie's Restaurant in Castle Rock, at 11:30a. Afterwards, we will then walk (as able) 2 blocks to the Castle Rock Historical Museum. The museum is a small brick building that was once a train depot. It was disassembled stone by stone and moved to the current location at 420 Elbert St, where it was reassembled. It houses lots of local history that we can peruse at our leisure and it is free.
Angie's serves homemade Italian and Mexican food and is located at 201 Fourth St., in Castle Rock. They have a nice outdoor patio for us to dine, if weather permitting.
Please sign up at Sign-Up Central in the Narthex. If you have any questions, please contact LuAnn Benson.
