Quilts of Valor

The Military Ministry & Congregational Caring would like to thank Barb Osborn, Vikki O’Donnell, and Esther Moore for their deeply appreciated help in serving lunch on June 18 at our Quilts of Valor event. We also want to thank all of the veterans who supported this event. In addition, we want to congratulate the first veteran recipients of a Quilt. They are: top row – Everett Thomas, Vern Tabert, Bruce Gaunt. Bottom row includes Toby Easter, Gary Ruthven, Sharon Wells. These veteran recipients received the quilts especially designed for the 250^th anniversary of our nation. Our goal is to eventually have every JOY veteran who desires a quilt to receive one.
