All kids in grades K-6 and Assistant Directors in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in this year’s JoyKidsJam Christmas musical, “We Knead a Little Christmas!”Ezekiel and Naomi, owners of the famous House of Bread Bakery in Bethlehem, are busy with their kids Akiva, Rina, and Dora, plus baking for all the residents of town. When thousands of visitors start showing up in Bethlehem for the census, everything gets even busier, especially when their daughter Rina, the shepherd, bursts on the scene with tales of angels appearing in the night sky! Excitement rises along with the bread dough with news of a baby born in Bethlehem that very day — could it be the Messiah? Will oldest son Akiva’s “Best New Bread” creation win the annual baker’s contest and keep the shop in business? And did the Magi reallysay “we have seen his star in the yeast”?

All kids in grades K-6 are welcome to be part of the cast, no try-outs necessary. We’re also in need of Assistant Directors from 6th-12th grade. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:45pm in the Sanctuary beginning on September 30th. We will present “We Knead a Little Christmas” in worship on Saturday, December 12th at 5:30pm and on Sunday, December 13th at 10:30am.
