Community Helping Project: Cuddle Kits

We’re excited to share that our Sunday School will be hosting its first Community Helping Project of the school year in October! We’d like to ask for your help creating “Cuddle Kits”—soft, comforting bundles designed to support local foster children. These kits are often given to children in emergency placement situations, when everything suddenly feels unfamiliar and uncertain. Even a small comfort can go a long way. Our goal is to make 100 Cuddle Kits.

What we need: 

• New Boys’ & Girls’ pajamas (all sizes) 
• Small flashlights with batteries
• New small stuffed animals

The flashlights and stuffed animals are the “cuddle factor” —helping foster children who are often afraid of the dark feel safe.

Donations can be placed in the marked donation bins in the narthex through Sunday, October 10th. Thank you for joining us in showing God’s love in such a tender way. Together, we can bring comfort and joy to these children one cuddle at a time.
