A Prayerful Lent

Many people give up things for Lent, but why not be different and add something?  PRAYER!  If you only pray at church, begin praying in other places.  If you already do this, pray more. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).  God is waiting for you to talk to Him.  As you journey through Lent, do as Jesus did. “He would withdraw to deserted places to pray” (Luke 5:16).  Prayer will change your life, as well as the lives of people in your prayers.  Read some Bible verses about prayer in the .pdf attachment below.
