The woman said to him, “Sir, you don’t have a bucket and the well is deep. Where would you get this living water? You aren’t greater than our father Jacob, are you? He gave this well to us, and he drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock. - John 4:11-12

There are many times when we talk to Jesus not knowing or forgetting that he IS the Son of God. The well could be deep… the circumstances surrounding you could be hard, deep, unknown, weird. But he still IS the Son of God. This means that when we need a bucket to get water out of a well, he only needs the power of his word to bring perfect order to total chaos. Trust me, we never know where or how he gets the living waters that restore our life, we just feel it and we enjoy it.

Jesus IS the Son of God. Open your mind and heart to what Jesus wants to do today in your mind, with your emotions, in school, at work, in your family, in your church... He does not need a bucket, he only needs your permission to bring life and joy, wisdom and opportunities, wellbeing and hope.
