Servant Day is the day Joy’s members get out of the pew and go out and do “God’s Work. Our Hands.” It is a wonderful day dedicated to serving our church family and community.
This year, Servant Day will be on Saturday, April 28th where every JOY member will have the opportunity to put their faith into action. There is a project for every talent, ability and interest, but rest assured no matter where you decide to put your hands to work, your heart will be filled with joy. The day starts at 8 am with breakfast and a volunteer commissioning in the Fellowship Hall. At 8:30 am, teams will go to their chosen project to begin with all projects finishing up around Noon.
Sign up for the projects will begin on April 4th. You can sign up on Sign Up Genius (link will be in the Blast) or signup sheets in the narthex. Sign Ups will explain times, locations, and age expectations. Be sure and sign up early, as projects fill up quickly.
Come, work, laugh and have fun knowing
by serving others,
you are serving God.
